Dolores Park Yale98By Nicolas King, BK’98

For the uninitiated, San Francisco summer doesn’t get started until October.

So lots of 98ers came out to Dolores Park to enjoy the warm weather during the SF Mini Reunion.

In attendance were Josh Slobin, Keegan Walden, Charlie Koven, Dona Tversky, Christopher Pan, Dave Hong, Dawn Ogawa, Rebecca Smullin, Beth Carlton and more.

Also in attendance were numerous spouses, soon-to-be spouses and the spanking-new offspring of spouses. No one was more popular than Albert Ko, bringer of boxes and boxes of Popeye’s Chicken.

Lots more folks (Ruth Kwon, Erin Ford-Dirks (now Erin Mathes), Gabe Chamie, Andy Katzman) sent their regrets and expressed an interest in doing this again before the reunion.

Next time it’ll be a babyless evening event, perhaps at a bar, perhaps at a local friend chicken joint.
