Friday 7:00 p.m Update: ‘98ers Reconnect at Wine Tasting in Beinecke Plaza
The University Welcome Reception (aka “The Big Wine Tasting”) just finished up on Beinecke Plaza.
This was an all-class event, so there were lots of 5th, 10th and older classes enjoying sips of vino and cheese all together under one tent.
Lots of 98ers from NYC, DC and even Singapore were around re-connecting. We found lots of people who didn’t attend the 5th Reunion who were present and really enjoying themselves at the 10th.
We think we mentioned it before but we’re projected to break the the 700+ attendance level.
If this first group gathering of 98ers is any predictor, tonight’s and Saturday night’s party (I mean “dinner”) will rock!
Nicolas King’s, BK’98 and Becky Lightman’s, DC’98 iPods’ are going keep up rolling in 90’s hits this evening.
Uh, Reggie is going to be enjoying himself under the tent tonight, so don’t look for any other blog posts until sun up.
