Yale 98 As we move towards firming up the schedule for our 10th Reunion, we are in need of input from you, so that we may put together a weekend that speaks to the particular interests and talents of the Class of ‘98.

Above all, we want this to be a Reunion that places the focus on what you and your fellow classmates can contribute.

We are aiming to provide unique experiences throughout the weekend that will be enhanced by class-based leadership; the time commitments will not be strenuous at all, but the reward, for you and the Class, will be significant.

Here are the specifics:

Saturday Morning, June 7th

  • Yoga - We are looking for a classmate to lead a morning yoga hour for other ‘98ers at 9:30 a.m.

Y98 hatA bit nippy outside?

Cover up!

We have about ten or so Y98 caps left over from this year’s tailgate.

If you’d like a hat, just send a note, and we’ll mail one out to you. They’re only ten bucks + two singles for shipping if you don’t live in New Haven.

Don’t get left out in the cold ;-).

But I digress; let’s set the stage. If you were anywhere near Grand Central Station in New York, you probably know about the unbelievably long lines to get tickets and the standing-room only trains that left the Metro-North station on the hour beginning 5:00 p.m. Friday evening until noon on Saturday morning.

Entire passenger cars were transformed into Yale and Harvard rally vehicles. On Game day, throngs of alumni walked all the way from the train station to the Yale Bowl when taxis and shuttles could not accommodate the massive crowds.
